I'm using 2010 R2, Version 7.0.3033.0 -- running on Windows 7 32-bit. First off...GREAT PRODUCT...massive time saver!

Periodically I move the SQL Server 2008 DB that contains the visionApp vRD environment database from one node in a fail-over cluster to another node/server (to allow machine maintenance, etc.). This causes a brief interruption in DB connectivity for the vRD environment.

If vRD is accessed at all during that brief period (which happens, since I'm initiating the move from an RDP session within vRD), it leads to vRD locking up with an Exception dialog box (with an OK button, which can not be clicked on) that prevents further interaction with vRD leading to having to kill the task.

It would be helpful if the environment connection exception could be handled by waiting a few seconds and attempting a reconnection again in the background.

If this has been requested already, or if I've posted to the wrong forum, I apologize. I did look to see if any similar request existed, but nothing was evident.

Thank you for the consideration! -Mike

Sometimes when working with vRD on a terminalserver remotely via VPN the mouse "sticks" and when navigating the tabs, you can accidentally move and detach the tab from the tab-bar, which is very annoying (but I guess not a problem with vRD).

The solution for this is to disable undocking in the Settings, but then you lose the possibility to re-order the tabs.

- Is it possible to divide the setting, so I can disable undocking, but still can reorder tabs on the tab-bar (being able to slide a tab back and forth in-between each other, so they switch/shift/change position)?

Otherwise I was thinking of an option where you can rightclick on the tab-bar and check/uncheck "Lock the tab-bar", so you can enable and disable the feature on-the-fly, instead of having to go to the Settings. Just like you can with the Taskbar in Windows.

Today the only buttons for tab-navigation, are the two arrows on the right side of the tab-bar, that can be used to slide the tab-bar back and forth.

In earlier versions (fx. 2010, see attachment) you had 4 navigation-buttons:
- Previous tab
- Next Tab
- Tab list
- Close tab

I know there are shortcut-keys for moving back and forth between tab (Previous - Next), but I still miss the ability to cycle between the tabs using the buttons, and I especially miss the "Tab list" button and the "Close" (X) button.

Every tab has a close button on it which is fine (don't remove it), but the smart thing about the old close button was that it remained in the same place all the time (well almost, it disappeared on the Overview tab), so you could just press the X in rapid succession to close a bunch of tabs quickly.

The "Tab list" was also very handy and even though the Overview does kind of the same thing, a dropdown list of open connection is sometimes faster to navigate, especially if it is alphabetically sorted.

So I vote for the return of the old navigation keys.

I previously also suggested a "First" and "Last" navigation-key, to jump to the start and the end of the tab-bar if you have many tabs open. Today you have to press the scroll-button and patiently wait as it scrolls the tabs all the way to the start/end.

Shortcut-keys for the actions would help, fx. Alt+ArrowUp to jump to the first tab - and Alt+ArrowDown to jump to the last tab (Using Alt+End and Alt+Home (or PgUp/PgDn) would be more logical, but these (except Alt+End) are already assigned to other shortcuts.

When i try to start the ext. app., i get an error saying:
An illegal directory structure for Dynamics has been detected. The sub-directory C:\Program Files(x86)\VisionApp Remote Desktop 2010 R2\\bin does not exist.

Looks like I am missing the option to type in the 'start in' path, for the external application, and therefor VisionApp uses its own 'start in' path as default.
