I am running Windows 7 (32bit Enterprise) and have installed the WMEncoder9 but the Pre-requisites check still says:

Video Recording:
Video Recording Check failed.
Windows Media Encoder 9 was not found.
Windows Media Video 9 VCM was found and the installed version is supported by vRD.

The issue they are talking about is something different, your issue sound more like you haven’t installed the components, please install the following:

Windows Media Encoder 9 Series (Please install the Englisch version because the english versions is the only one that works on Windows 7!)

leider bekomme ich bei den Links eine Fehlermeldung das die Seite nicht mehr erreichbar ist. Auch beim zweiten Link geht zwar eine Seite auf aber wenn ich auf Download klicke bekomme ich die MEldung das die Seite nicht erreichbar ist.

Könnte Ihr mir hier helfen ?

sorry aber den Encoder kann ich nur auf Deutsch runterladen und der klappt ja nicht. Scheint nicht mehr verfügbar zu sein?

Ich verstehe die Frage nicht, der Artikel ist eine korrektur wenn der Encoder bereits installiert ist. Ich kann aber den Encoder auf Deutsch überhaupt nicht installieren und auf Englisch finde ich den Download nicht.

Ihr Link funktioniert solange man die Sprache auf Deutsch stellt, wenn man auf Englisch umstellt ist der Download nicht mehr verfügbar.

Wir haben bei Microsoft nachgefragt die Antwort ist folgend:

„Der Media Encoder ist inzwischen nicht mehr supportet und wurde daher von der Download Seite entfernt. Dabei hat man nur die ein oder andere Sprachversion vergessen“

Das ist jetzt natürlich keine Lösung. Ich werde das Problem an den passenden vRD Kollegen weitergeben, so dass in zukünftigen vRD Versionen über eine alternative nachgedacht wird.
