I am running windows 7 pro. I installed vision app 2010 successfully but when I try to launch the application I get a error. Here is what I got from the event log.

Unable to cast object of type 'System.Configuration.DefaultSection' to type 'System.Configuration.ConnectionStringsSection'. StackTrace: at System.Configuration.Configuration.get_ConnectionStrings() at visionapp.vCCCommonLib.Configuration.GetXmlConfiguration.LoadConfiguration(String instanceName) at visionapp.vCCDesktop.Desktop.Main(String[] args)

Please try to delete your vRD.config file - should be located in %AppData%\visionapp\vRD 2010 - seems like that the xml file is corrupt... If you use any database connections you have to reenter it afterwards

I did that and now I get this error

Delete the config file again - and delete your registry in the path HKCU\Software\visionapp\vRD2010

If this will not work - please try to run vRD as Administrator to ensure it is not any restriction of your current user

I did that and now I get this error.

Could you please post the whole stacktrace that is logged to the eventlog
